Built for Durability and Consistency

The BBQ18 is made from 13-gauge welded steel, ensuring superior heat retention and structural integrity. The body is coated in a high-temperature, rust-resistant finish that withstands years of outdoor exposure.

Its robust design resists warping even under high heat, and the heavy lid seals tightly to lock in smoke and flavor. Meadow Creek’s skilled welders inspect every cooker to meet the brand’s exacting standards of reliability and strength.

Signature Pivoting Chicken Grate

What sets the BBQ18 apart is its pivoting double-sided grate system. This innovative design allows users to flip entire racks of chicken effortlessly, ensuring even cooking and crispy, golden-brown skin without flare-ups.

The grate locks securely in place during cooking and rotates smoothly when turned, making it ideal for high-volume cooking at events or family gatherings.

This feature is the same trusted design used in Meadow Creek’s larger commercial chicken cookers, refined for compact backyard use.

---

Generous Cooking Space in a Portable Design

Despite its smaller footprint, the BBQ18 offers approximately 3 square feet of cooking space—ample room to grill up to 20–25 chicken halves at once. The efficient rectangular shape provides uniform heat distribution and easy access for basting or seasoning.

Its manageable size makes it perfect for patios, decks, or mobile use at charity cookouts. Optional accessories, such as removable legs or trailer mounts, add portability for those who need a travel-ready cooker.

---

Precision Airflow and Temperature Control

The cooker’s dual adjustable vents on the bottom and sides let you fine-tune airflow and heat levels precisely. You can raise temperatures quickly for searing or lower them for slow, steady roasting.

A built-in thermometer port allows accurate monitoring of internal heat, ensuring that your chicken cooks thoroughly without drying out. Once set, the BBQ18 maintains a consistent temperature with minimal adjustments—ideal for both beginners and seasoned pitmasters.

---

Authentic Charcoal Flavor

The Meadow Creek BBQ18 produces that unmistakable smoky flavor only hardwood charcoal and real wood can create. Its open design allows clean air circulation for complete combustion, generating flavorful smoke that enhances every meal.

Pair your cooker with premium seasoned firewood and charcoal from Seasoned Firewood for Homes to achieve the perfect aroma and heat profile. Hickory, oak, or apple wood adds complexity and sweetness to grilled meats without overpowering them.

---

Built for Efficiency and Convenience

The removable charcoal pan makes adding or removing coals easy. Its efficient design minimizes fuel waste, allowing long burn times on a single load. Cleanup takes minutes—simply empty the ash and wipe down the steel surfaces.

Every detail of the BBQ18 focuses on functionality and efficiency, so you spend less time managing the fire and more time enjoying the results.

Meadow Creek’s chicken cookers are favorites among community fundraisers and event caterers across North America. The BBQ18’s manageable size and rapid cooking cycles make it perfect for small-scale operations that still need professional-grade output.
